Woven wood shades are carefully crafted from hand-selected reeds, grasses, woods, and bamboo. The unique weaves are created by talented artisans, and the materials are dyed to create individual coloring options. Due to the natural elements of the materials, no two woven shades are identical. They highlight the natural (perfect) imperfections of the materials and bring a bit of the natural world into your home. These shades are lovely for sunrooms, kitchens, and bright natural spaces.

Provenance® Woven Wood Shades
These top-of-the-line natural shades feature handcrafted weaves. The varying materials create a unique look with different lighting options. For a fabric-like look, choose the grass and reed weaves. These textiles tend to be more translucent and gently filter the light coming through your windows. The wood and bamboo weaves are more opaque, but their natural curves and textures mean that they have a wider weave that has gaps; Hunter Douglas offers a room-darkening liner that can pair with any of their woven shades to fill in those gaps. The liner can be operated independently, allowing you to choose the perfect light level for any time of the day.
Like other Hunter Douglas shades, Provenance® Woven Wood Shades are fully customizable. We can fit them to any size window, and you can choose from Roman or waterfall Roman shade styles. Provenance® shades can even be oriented vertically to cover sliding glass doors. There are dozens of color options, including unique artisan dyes. Hunter Douglas also offers colorful edge banding that you can use to match the woven shades to your interior design or as an eye-catching decorative accent.

The Alustra® Woven Textures Collection isn’t limited to roller shades. Hunter Douglas also offers these design-forward textiles as an option for their Roman shades. The fabric collection is identical to the Roller shades, including the new designs from Lori Weitzner. The folding style makes some weaves better suited to the Roman shade design.
